Fourteen members of the AGA attended the May program held at the residence of Jacqueline Parsley, where they enjoyed a guided tour of her artistic abode, studio, and garden.

AGA held a very successful Showcase at Owl Creek Country Club. There were 36 artists participating, offering paintings, ceramics, photography and multi-media art.

The group learned about Clare Hirn inspiration and methods for her work as well as the programs she has developed to help local artists connect and work with non-profits.

Artists' Breakfast Group Louisville is a group born out of a need to build community. Meeting each Thursday morning at a succession of locally-owned eateries, they break bread and discuss art and creativity, sharing professional information with other artists in Kentucky. This year, the group celebrates a 30-year anniversary with an exhibit featuring 39 current members in an exhibition at Louisville Visual Art: AB30.
Brook White, Owner of Flame Run Studio in Louisville and designer and co-creator of the Memorial, joined members for a tour of the memorial. Museum tour by the Executive Director.
Some of the group took side trips to the beautiful St. Joseph Catholic Church, and had a private tour of the ceramic studio of local Jasper artists Romey and Claire. .

Cathy Wessel, AGA Board Member, once again graciously hosted the annual AGA Christmas celebration.
Members visited the KMAC Museum to view the “Aqueous USA 2024”, the 47th Annual Kentucky Watercolor Society Exhibition. AGA appreciates the guided tour provided by Curatorial Director, Joey Yates. What a stunning and varied collection of the finest watercolor paintings from across the United States! Attendees also viewed the wonderful Gee Horton and Tiffany Calvert exhibits.
Members visited the Speed Art Museum to see the Kathia St. Hilaire exhibit and Winslow Homer illustrations. Our wonderful docent gave excellent background and descriptions of Kathia's work.
A gathering of members discussed the book "The Art of Rivalry."
12 x 12 Bi-Annual 12 x 12 Art Sale.
Great event! The sales of the donated paintings allowed AGA to gift Louisville Visual Arts almost $3500.
Tyler Robertson opened his studio to members for a social gathering while artists picked up their 12 x 12 canvases for the Bi-Annual Art Sale.
AGA members visited artist Pedro Roque Urra's studio.During the visit he demonstrated his use of a torch as he added copper to his steel sculpture. Pedro also gave a tour of the art in his home, which included wood sculptures and paintings
