Meet Janet Hayden

Janet is the current AGA PR/Social Media/Website Chair and has been a member of AGA for two years. 

Janet moved to Prospect six years ago from Western Kentucky to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

After retiring from hospital administration, Janet, encouraged by friends, started taking oil painting from Henderson, Kentucky renowned artist and teacher, Chris Thomas. This opened a whole new world for her and she became engaged in painting and involved in Art Boards and art Organizations. She is an avid collector and volunteer in the arts and is currently working in clay.

Art for me is an escape into imagination and creativity. I yearn for it and it brings me happiness. Art makes life better.
